Ann Fore showed an interest and talent in art at an early age. She began taking
private lessons and continued studying through her school years and as an adult.
In the 1970's she worked with noted painter Morgan Samuels Price for a number
of years. Since that time she has studied with numerous nationally known artists
and has won awards in various shows. Her work is shown in several public and
corporate offices. John Singer Sargent and Richard Schmidt have influenced her work because of their wonderful figure painting, and their ability to paint the light. " I am intrigued by the play of light on a flower, a leaf, the water, but especially the figure. I want to entertain my viewer with the beauty and magig of life. For me, painting is a passion.I must pursue." |
